Colorado Rockies Send Noah Davis to Albuquerque Isotopes

Rehab Assignment for Right-Handed Pitcher

Davis Optioned to Arizona Complex League

The Colorado Rockies have sent right-handed pitcher Noah Davis on a rehab assignment to the Albuquerque Isotopes, the team's Triple-A affiliate. This move comes after Davis pitched for the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Thursday, where he took a loss in his final outing.

Davis, a 25-year-old, has been on the injured list since early June with a right shoulder strain. He has made five rehab starts this season, allowing four earned runs in 10 innings pitched. Davis has struck out 12 batters and walked two.

The Rockies are hoping that Davis can return to the majors in the near future. He is a valuable member of the team's bullpen, as he can provide multiple innings of relief.

In other roster moves, the Rockies have optioned Davis to the rookie-level Arizona Complex League. This move is likely to make room on the roster for another pitcher.
