Vanessa Anne Hudgens was born in Salinas, California on December 14, 1988. Her mother, Gina Guangco, was a secretary, while her father, Greg Hudgens, was a firefighter. The family moved to San Diego, California when Vanessa was still a toddler.

Rise to Fame

Vanessa's acting career began when she was just a child. She appeared in several local theatre productions before landing a role in the Disney Channel Original Movie "High School Musical" in 2006. The film was a huge success, and Vanessa's star power soared. She went on to star in several more Disney Channel movies, including "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and "Phineas and Ferb".
